Seven dances for the transformation of consciousness
Dance ceremonies are one of the oldest healing rituals known to mankind. Following a vision we started to re-awaken the energies and powers of this sacred ceremony.
The visiondreamdance is an intense 4-day dancing ceremony with the intention to dance for the reestablishment of harmony. We dance for healing, for life, for the light, the earth and the cosmos. We dance for peace, the path of beauty and abundance. We dance for us, for our family, for our friends.
It is a very special place where the dances are performed. A tree is placed in its centre as a symbol for the centre of the universe with all the powers embedded within it. The tree is surrounded by a medicine wheel symoblizing our planet earth. While we are dancing we are granted entrance to the space of shamanic dreaming. The ceremonial dance enables us to reach a state of deep trance where gates of power will guide us in to the spiritual world.
Before the dance starts the dancers will head outside for a one day and night long vision quest to prepare themselves in silence and prayers for the upcoming ceremony.
The Inipi, a medicine sweat lodge, prepares us to encounter the spirits of visions and the guards of dreams with a clear mind and open heart. Every day of the dance is placed under a global as well as a personal theme. It is recommended not to eat during the days of the vision quest and the dance ceremony. It is up to everybody to decide for themselves whether or not to submit to complete fasting but from sunrise to sunset no food at all should be consumed.
A special group of drummers under the coordination and guidance of Hans Georg Unterrainer (www.trommel.comune.at) will play for the dancers during the four days of dancing. And a supporter team will be with me to create a protected and balanced field for all the intense processes of the participants.
Through the enormous intensity of the dancing process great healing and visions can happen that can hardly be met by anything else.
